Urgent Help Needed

Some Special Pets Urgently Need Your Help

These "special needs" dogs and cats went through traumatic and emotional surgeries and need your support for everything they have been through and their ongoing care.

Pebbles

We're treating Pebbles for glaucoma but other than that she is a very healthy and happy, but blind, 15 pound girl.  So far her medical expenses have amounted to more than $500 and we're only asking for an adoption donation of $150.  We desperately need your help to make up the difference.

Chop Suey

Chop Suey is a very special dog.  Even though he is completely blind, he will come to you when you call him by name, just following the sound of your voice.  One of our volunteers wrote a great story for him on PetFinder.  Just click the link below to read it.  And thanks for considering adopting a very special homeless dog.  Chop Suey's medical expenses have exceeded his requested adoption donation.  We can only afford to provide for dogs like him through your generous donations to sponsor his care.

Help
We have a kitten that had to have a leg amputated.  It gets around fine on three legs, but the medical expenses have far exceeded the requested adoption donation of $75.  Would you please consider sponsoring such a tough little kitten for any amount?

Help
Even more money has been spent on a poor little kitten with a bad eye -- lots of vet visits and lots of medication and time from our volunteers.  Of course it's worth it!  And maybe it's worth it to you to help with the expenses?  You certainly would earn a special place in our hearts if you did.

Soccer
Soccer has a close-docked tail because he needed special surgery to correct a tail injury that he had when he arrived at Animal Aid.  His tail area was very sensitive for a long time and he developed a habit of chasing his tail.  He needs a very special adoptive family and very special sponsors for his care.  He deserves it because he will make someone a very happy lap dog!

Leo
Leo just had a double eye surgery to correct his "cherry eyes".  This is very expensive surgery, but essential to his health and happiness.  Maybe it's essential to your happiness to help with his care.  Giving as much as you can would help Leo find a forever home where he will be happy and healthy for a long time.

Help
Ling Ling is recovering from having a tumor on her front pad, one pad had to be removed. She also had a cancerous growth on her little forehead which the vet removed. She is also blind. She has a class 4 heart murmer, and spinal damage from a trauma. She is the sweetest happiest little dog you'll ever meet.

She will need some donations to help with her vet bill! She is going to live in Atlanta Ga with a  lovely pekingese lady who has 7 bind senior pekes. A volunteers husband donated the plane ticket for Ling Ling to get to her forever home.

Tiger was born with tiny eyes and surrendered to us as a baby.  He has some shadow vision, but is mostly blind.  A wonderful foster person gave him the care and love he needed to become the beautiful cat he is now.  Unfortunately, he became unhappy being with the other cats because he could not see them coming up and it startled him. Tiger needs a home of his very own.   He would be very happy and comfortable on someone's screened-in patio, as long as he had a kind-hearted person who would pet and talk to him often.  Tiger picks his friends, but he loves to be petted.  If anyone can open their home and their hearts to Tiger, please call Lee:  Cell:  754-366-8072 or work: 561-226-9508

Snoopy is a great, 11-month old, neutered, male cat with a terrific personality who was surrendered to us as a kitten.  His left eye produces excess tears.  Perhaps it arose as a leftover from a cold, or an allergy or a blocked tear duct (the only way to know this is through surgery).  With the proper medication, this condition may clear up if he was in a home of his own.  Currently, he lives in a very busy foster home with many other pets.  Snoopy would be a treasure to anyone who can take the time to work with him to solve his problem.  He is playful, inquisitive, obedient and gets along wonderfully with other cats and dogs. (He often cuddles up with a terrier.) To see Snoopy, please call Lee at 561-226-9508 (work) or 754-366-8072 .

Please consider a donation to assist us with caring for homeless animals.
Any amount helps us greatly!  Thank you!
